About Alison

Alison has been singing her entire life and enjoys nothing more than sharing the making of music with others. She earned her BM in Classical Voice performance at San Francisco State Univ. School of Music where she grasped a firm knowledge of Vocal Pedagogy and performance in Opera. While living in the Bay Area, she directed Musical Theater in North Beach, San Francisco at The Boys and Girls club and taught private voice & piano lessons to all ages alongside acting & singing in regional theatres.

In New York, where she now resides, she graduated from The Stella Adler Professional Conservatory of Acting and is a proud memeber of Actors' Equity. In her offerings as a coach today, she combines her studies as an actor with her opera training and leads with joy, making for an exciting and fruitful Voice Lesson; diving into healthy sound exploration, grounded breathing, and genuine performance art.

Her years onstage have taught her what it truly means to act a song and connect with a piece of music emotionally while producing beautiful vocal phrasing and agile technique. Sharing this expertise and harnessing power in her students is her favorite work.

As a coach and teacher Alison can take you to the next level with your performance. As a working performer and teacher she also understands the sheer importance of having a solid and supportive coach; it is equally as important to nurture the artist as it is to nurture the art.

Whatever your level musically and vocally, Alison will meet you there and cater to your needs to help you achieve your musical goals.
